Delicious salmon seasoned with Kodu Citrus Kick
Ingredients
-
4 salmon fillets
-
2 tablespoons of olive oil
-
1 ½ tablespoon of Citrus Kick (Lemon Pepper) Seasoning
-
Salt to taste
-
1 lime or lemon, sliced
Directions
First, prepare your salmon fillets by rinsing them under cold water and patting dry with paper towels.
Preheat your grill to medium-high heat. You're looking for a temperature around 375-400F (190-200C).
Next, take your olive oil and evenly coat each of the salmon fillets. This will not only help the seasoning stick to the salmon, but will also prevent it from sticking to the grill.
Then, sprinkle the "Citrus Kick - Lemon Pepper Seasoning" evenly over each of the fillets. Don't forget to season both sides!
You can also add salt to taste at this stage.
Once the grill is heated and your salmon is seasoned, it's time to cook! Place the salmon fillets on the grill, skin side down. Cooking the salmon skin-side down will help it retain its natural juices, keeping the fillets moist and flavorful.
Grill the salmon for about 10 minutes. Keep an eye on it - you want the fillets to be cooked through and flaky, but not overcooked. The salmon should have a slightly pink center when it's perfectly cooked.
Finally, remove the salmon from the grill and let it rest for a few minutes before serving. Garnish with the sliced lime or lemons, which can also be squeezed over the top of the fillets for an extra burst of citrus flavor.
